If you are like me, then you always look at those girls with the perfect winged eyeliner and think, “Girl, don’t step in front of my car.” 🙂
OK, maybe that’s a bit extreme, but it seems totally unfair sometimes that these girls have the ‘perfect’ winged eyeliner. I watched every video I could find and asked every person that I knew how to get this right, and I was still awful at it. Like, if there was a medal for p*ss poor winged eyeliner, I would be sporting gold.
Anywho, over the years, I have developed what I like to refer to as ‘make up coping skills’. These are the tips and tricks that I have finally mastered to make myself appear much better at make up than I really am. I figure that I could not possibly be the only makeup challenged person out there, so I made this video about applying winged eyeliner.
Seriously, if you can mess this two step process up, then you are beyond hope. I kid, I kid. 🙂 I hope this helps you to rock that winged eyeliner this weekend!
Happy Friday Everyone!
I Want To Be a Bombshell
I Am Ready For This
I Am Happy That I Finished The Application and Photos
Well, I did it. I officially pressed the send button on my application to Shannon Dey and Team Bombshell. Am I nervous? Um, yeah, but I feel like it is a good fit, and I just have to hope that they agree.
I filled out the questionnaire that they sent over, took my headshots, and my bikini shots (front and back) from the judges perspective (aka, my friend had to sit on the floor to take these 🙂 ).
So, now we wait. It takes three days for them to decide one way or the other, and this does not include weekends, so basically, I am in limbo until next Wednesday. Until then, it’s more research about the industry, refining my training plan, and training as hard as I know how.
I want to be a part of Shannon’s team for several reasons. I like her whole brand concept, she is a winner, her girls motivate the hell out of me, and it doesn’t hurt that they are all very beautiful. I will be up against stiff competition whether I am on Shannon’s team or not, but I would much rather train with the best of the best, then to go at it alone.
I am pretty sure that the ‘bikini shots’ that I had to take will force me to train harder this weekend, because I don’t feel ‘bikini ready’ at this moment :-). If anyone else has just applied to Team Bombshell, been accepted, or is currently training with them, reach out to me. I would love build a network of ladies that are all going through this process together.
Let’s Run To The Bikini Together!
